Product Description
The Weldplas HQC CNC cutting table is a heavy-duty plasma cutting machine that is perfect for multi-shift production cutting.
The most important aspect of machine design is the drive system and the Weldplas HQC boasts high power EtherCAT AC servo drives with precision planetary gearboxes. These are combined with high quality components and lightweight aluminium side plates.
The low mass and powerful servo drives enable this plasma cutting machine to accelerate faster and corner quicker than others in its class, cutting round holes more precisely with an excellent finish.
The Weldplas HQC plasma cutting machine can be fitted with an air plasma cutter or a high precision plasma cutter for powerful performance across a wide range of tasks. It can cut from 1mm to 30mm thick. A gas cutting torch with automatic pressure control can also be added for thicker cutting up to 100mm.

Machine Setup and Safety

- Our engineers will assess the power requirements for your machine. They will specify which services are required and their locations.
- The WeldPlas HQC is shipped fully assembled. For installation, simply plug in the machine’s plasma pack and power supply, then connect the compressed air and fill the waterbed or connect the extraction.
- A Weldfast engineer will take you through the safety features of the machine and train your operators, so they can safely operate the machine and get the best out of it. Once our engineer has completed the final calibration checks, you can then sign off the machine.
- If required, an engineer will make a second visit to continue the operator training and demonstrate the software’s advanced features.
- Software
- The Techserv CNC software is designed specifically for profile cutting and is fitted to all our new machines as standard
