TechServ’s Support

Specialised CNC Technical Support

Comprehensive expertise

From initial setup through to maintenance and upgrades, our team of expert engineers offer comprehensive service support for all our machines and plasma packs.

Swift service

All of our plasma machines are equipped with WiFi. Connecting your machine online enables us to remotely diagnose any issues and fix them quickly.

Global support

We’ve over 30 years experience of building and maintaining plasma machines. We currently support over 1,000 machines worldwide.

Demonstrations, Installation & Setup

Our support starts before you’ve even chosen your machine. At our workshop’s demonstration facilities, we’ll set up a specific machine so you can see it in action. We can also advise and recommend solutions to suit your individual needs, so you can make a well-informed decision on the best machine for you.

Once you’ve ordered your machine, our engineers will assess the power requirements and specify which services are required and their locations.

Some of our machines are shipped fully assembled, while others require some assembly. Our engineers can support you with the installation and setup.

Following your machine's installation, we’ll provide training at your premises. We’ll cover the machine’s operation, software, safety procedures and basic troubleshooting. This training ensures operators are confident and capable of running the machine safely and efficiently.

We can return for a top-up training session a few weeks later. This gives you the opportunity to become more familiar with your new machine and consider any additional queries. With your machine connected to the internet, we can provide you with any extra training needed in the future.

Maintenance & Repairs

We offer 3, 6 or 12-month maintenance contracts to ensure your plasma machine continues running smoothly. We have a team of engineers available during normal working hours, including van-based service engineers if a visit is necessary. Our engineers all have a comprehensive knowledge of our machines and software system.

We stock a large range of parts so most spares can be dispatched the same day. All our machines use a standard Windows 11 PC, so we can provide standard replacement parts. This means you will never be hit with a big bill for a specialist component, and we can easily and quickly source spares.

We can also diagnose and fix some issues remotely to get your machine up and running as soon as possible. Our software includes comprehensive diagnostics and the ability to reassign its input and outputs. Our larger EtherCAT-based machines feature online support for the drive system and the CNC system.

Software Support & Upgrades

Our CNC software system has been developed in-house, which enables us to provide expert software support.

We can carry out software upgrades online in as little as 20 minutes. However, if you are unable to connect your machine to the internet, we can also share upgrade files via email or by sending you a physical memory stick.

For peace of mind, your control software and data files can all be backed up. If your computer should ever fail, the software can then easily be reloaded onto a replacement.
