Techserv machines contain a PC-based CNC controller which has been designed in-house to combine ease of use with the best cut quality at a reasonable price.

Techserv’s machines are used in a variety of industries from small fabrication shops and educational establishments to structural steel and shipbuilding industries, producing everything from structural steel plates to farm machinery and aircraft carriers to the 2012 Olympics Aquatic Centre and Olympic Stadium.

All Techserv machines feature a PC-based CNC controller, designed in-house specifically for profile cutting machine applications, which is easy to use, teach and maintain.

The Techserv CNC is a PC-based 2.5D shape cutting controller, suitable for gas, plasma, water jet and other applications.

The controller is based on a PC system running Windows ‘XP’ with an external 8 axis motion controller DSP capable of controlling a wide variety of drive systems, AC, DC or stepper.

While Techserv’s software is designed to be easy to learn, it includes many advanced features such as dynamic repositioning, plasma height sense control and automatic gas pressure adjustment.

Techserv’s CNC uses touch screen technology; a joystick and mouse can also be installed according to user preference.

Techserv can supply systems ranging from an OEM software only version to a full CNC housed in a machined aluminium panel.

Techserv also develops and sells specialist software including CAD programming software, machine performance software and efficiency monitoring software.
